I created these designs to celebrate nurses on National Nurses Week. This is a big week in healthcare where organizations can show their support for nurses. To show our support for nurses, I came up with the running theme of portray nurses as superheroes.
2019 Design
I organized and art directed the photoshoot. I asked the models to pose in easily recognizable superhero positions so people who are not so immersed in the superhero world have an easy time recognizing the characters. After the photoshoot I edited and stylized the photos.
2018 Design
I worked with images from a photoshoot I art directed 3 month prior. I edited and stylized the images to look like the nurses are superheroes from comic books. When the assets were done I created campy animations that brought the characters to life.
